Congrats on the card. I collected when pokemon came to the U.S. stopped and just started back up last year. In one year I have collected over 2000 cards and all of them are from ex series and Diamond and Pearl. I have 290 ex series cards and only seven of them are ex. All of my cards are from booster packs so it is very rare to get ex in boosters. i believe some starter decks do have ex cards as the rare holo but i don't like doing that. again congrats and good luck collecting.

So, I'd like to know any cool card games that you guys happen to know.
Not those Trading Card stuff like Magic or Pokemon.
Card games with a real deck of playing cards.

Eyptian War.
Deck is divided evenly between everyone.
Take turns placing one card each.
If a face card shows up, next player puts down certain number of cards.

ACE 4 cards
KING 3 cards
QUEEN 2 cards
JACK 1 card

As soon as the person places a face card, it's the next player's turn.
If they don't, the person that played the last face card gets the pile. (If they take too long to take it, someone can steal it.)
If you run out of cards when putting down cards for a face card, the next player must continue setting down cards where you left off.
If there are doubles on top of the pile, you can slap the pile to claim them. (If you choose wrong, everyone gets to hit your hand.)
Winner has all cards at the end.
