What camera would I need to buy to be able too...?
Take long exposure photos
Take good night photos (of the moon, and fireworks that kind of thing)
Get quite high resolution
Either use normal batteries (so I can recharge them, but if i run out i can just nip to the nearest shop) or has a VERY long battery life (ie the battery lasts 8-10 hours in constant use)
I'm also a quite poor student, so any tips on how to save up for one would be appreciated!

Go on eBay and browse the Nikon D Series SLRs. Even the entry-level D40 should fit the bill quite well. Add the 18-135mm Nikor lens and you're set for the most part. There should be a ton of them on eBay, so wait it out for the best deals under $300 and $150 respecitvely.

what do you think this photo says about middle classed life?
For my photography class, we had to go view a photo gallery - our entire class went and we have to answer questions and this was one of them...
The photo I saw was in color, it showed a middle class family backyard with 2 garbage pails, 5 bikes, a hose, and some lawn chairs and some old boxes with junk in them.
In the background of the photo, the sun is out and shining through the trees. You can see 2 other yards way in the distance that are also of middle class people.
What do you think the photo shows or says about middle classed life?
